Five-star edge rusher and son of a College Football Hall of Famer

Marvin Jones Jr. was a five-star prospect at American Heritage School in Plantation, Florida, one of the nation's top high school programs.

His college journey covered three stops. He started at Georgia (2022–2023), where he was part of the 2022 national championship team. He then transferred to Florida State for 2024 before finishing his college career at Oklahoma in 2025. At Georgia he played in 25 games over two seasons. At Florida State in 2024 he posted a career-best four sacks. In his lone Sooner season he recorded 21 tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks.

Jones went undrafted in 2026 and signed with the Seattle Seahawks, later moving to their practice squad. On September 16, 2026, the Washington Commanders signed him to their practice squad, and on October 1 he was released with an injury settlement.

As of October 8, 2026, Jones is a free agent. With his pedigree and talent, Sooner fans will be watching for his next opportunity.
