Mike Woods

Wide receiver · No club · free agent · OU 2021

Magnolia playmaker from a family of champions

Mike Woods grew up in Magnolia, Texas, where he caught 155 passes for 2,988 yards and 41 touchdowns in three varsity seasons at Magnolia High School. A three-star recruit, he first committed to SMU before following coach Chad Morris to Arkansas.

At Arkansas (2018–2020) Woods developed into a dependable target, leading the team with 33 catches and four touchdowns as a sophomore and posting 619 yards as a junior. He transferred to Oklahoma for 2021 and caught 35 passes for 400 yards and two touchdowns for the Sooners.

The Cleveland Browns selected Woods in the sixth round (202nd overall) of the 2022 NFL draft. His career has been interrupted by injuries, including a ruptured Achilles in April 2023. He returned to the Browns' active roster in late 2024, spent time on the Green Bay Packers' practice squad in 2025, and signed with the Denver Broncos in May 2026 after a minicamp tryout. An injury during OTAs led to his release with an injury settlement in June 2026.

As of October 8, 2026, Woods is a free agent receiver looking for his next opportunity.
