Ogbonnia Okoronkwo

Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year with a Super Bowl ring
Ogbonnia 'Ogbo' Okoronkwo was born in Gainesville, Florida, to Nigerian parents and grew up in Houston, where he played at Alief Taylor High School.
At Oklahoma (2013–2017) he developed into one of the best pass rushers in the country. In 2017 he was named Big 12 co-Defensive Player of the Year and an AP second-team All-American. He also earned his degree in African and African-American Studies.
The Los Angeles Rams selected Okoronkwo in the fifth round (160th overall) of the 2018 NFL draft. He won a Super Bowl ring when the Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23–20 in Super Bowl LVI. He then spent time with the Houston Texans before signing a three-year, $19 million contract with the Cleveland Browns in March 2023. After the Browns released him in June 2025, he joined the Philadelphia Eagles, and on August 5, 2026, he signed a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers.
As of October 8, 2026, Okoronkwo is an active outside linebacker and edge rusher for the 49ers, part of a strong Sooner contingent in San Francisco.
