Scott Case

Safety · 1 selection · retired · OU 1982-1983

Ten interceptions, an NFL-best, earned him a Pro Bowl trip in 1988

Scott Case started at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, where he helped win a national junior college title, then transferred to Oklahoma. He started at cornerback for the Sooners and moved to free safety as a senior, when he tied the school single-season record with eight interceptions.

He joined the Atlanta Falcons in 1984. His Pro Bowl season came in 1988, when he recorded 65 tackles and led the NFL with 10 interceptions, which was also a Falcons franchise record. He was named to the Pro Bowl and was an AP second-team All-Pro.

He played 11 seasons for Atlanta and finished his career with Dallas in 1995, when the Cowboys won Super Bowl XXX.

Sources on his Pro Bowl are limited mainly to Pro-Football-Reference, Wikipedia and OU's Pro Bowl page, which all list 1988.
