Rhamondre Stevenson grew up in Las Vegas and starred at Centennial High School, where he was named the Las Vegas Sun High School Player of the Year as a junior in 2015.
He started his college career at Cerritos College in California before transferring to Oklahoma for 2019 and 2020. With the Sooners he was a powerful, punishing runner. In 2020 he returned midseason and immediately made an impact, scoring three touchdowns in his first game back against Texas Tech. He capped his OU career by earning MVP honors in the 2020 Cotton Bowl, rushing for 186 yards and a touchdown on just 18 carries.
The New England Patriots drafted Stevenson in the fourth round (120th overall) in 2021. He broke out in 2022 with 1,040 rushing yards and a team-leading 69 catches, and in June 2024 he signed a four-year, $36 million extension. In 2025 he helped the Patriots go 14–3, earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week after a three-touchdown game in Week 18, and caught a touchdown pass in Super Bowl LX.
As of October 8, 2026, Stevenson is an active running back for the Patriots, where he is joined by fellow Sooner Walter Rouse.
