OU's all-time wins and strikeouts queen, still pitching
Keilani Ricketts grew up in San Jose, California, the youngest of four athletic siblings, and became one of the greatest players in Oklahoma softball history.
From 2010 to 2013 she was a four-time All-American and a four-time first-team All-Big 12 pick who dominated in the circle and at the plate. In 2012 she won the pitching Triple Crown, was Big 12 Player of the Year and won USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Her 2013 senior season was nearly perfect: 35–1, six no-hitters and a 21-game winning streak to finish. In Game 2 of the WCWS finals against Tennessee she drove in all of OU's runs, including a three-run homer that was the 50th of her career, to clinch the national title. She was named WCWS Most Outstanding Player and repeated as national player of the year.
Ricketts still holds OU career records for wins (133), strikeouts (1,605), shutouts and complete games. She is one of three players in NCAA Division I history with 100 wins, 1,000 strikeouts and 50 home runs.
She pitched for the USSSA Pride, in Japan and for Team USA, and she has played for the Carolina Blaze in the AUSL since 2025 while also coaching pitchers at the University of the Pacific. As of October 8, 2026, she is a pitcher for the Blaze.
