Peterson will be entering his 13th season in the NFL, coming off arguably his best season since 2015 averaging 4.2 yards per carry.
The upcoming season, Washington enters with a loaded backfield featuring three backs under 25 years old. The team hasn’t shied away from their intentions distributing the workload from Peterson to 2018 second-round draft pick Derrius Guice, who missed last season with a torn ACL, giving the team a fresh pair of legs to support the aging All-Pro Peterson.
