On Saturday, the Cleveland Browns quarterback vehemently displayed his displeasure with his wide receivers. In a play where the pocket broke down in a 11-on-11 drill, Mayfield dropped a series of F-bombs toward his wideouts after not coming back to provide protection.


WR Sterling Shepard Suffers Fractured Thumb

New York Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard suffered a broken thumb in first day of practice on Thursday, the team announced.

The injury occurred after an attempted catch, an x-ray later revealed the fracture after practice. Shepard, will be evaluated week-to-week by the team medical staff.

The 26-year-old former Oklahoma standout signed a four-year, $41 million extension in April.


Report: Adrian Peterson Is Deep In Debt

Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson is reportedly deep in debt.

Peterson, a 12-year league veteran, is being sued for failing to repay a $5.2M loan, The Athletic reports. Chase Carlson, an attorney representing Peterson, says the Washington Redskins back was “trusting the wrong people.”

All-Pro Trent Williams Will Hold Out Start Of Training Camp

All-Pro tackle Trent Williams will not report to the start of Washington Redskins training camp, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

Williams, the fourth-overall pick in 2010 NFL Draft, has been seeking a new deal with the team. In June, he skipped the team's minicamp reducing his salary by $150k.



OT Trent Williams Highest-Rated Former Sooner In Madden NFL 20

Ahead of the release of Madden NFL 20, EA Sports released the ratings for every player and team.

Ten-year veteran offensive tackle Trent Williams of Washington Redskins is the highest-rated former Oklahoma player with an overall rating of 95, which is second-best among left tackles. Lane Johnson of Philadelphia Eagles rated second-best among right tackles and former Sooners with an overall rating of 89.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield’s overall rating of 83 was tied for 12th best among quarterbacks. Mayfield's throw power is among league-best at 93. He is among the fastest with a speed rating of 82 and acceleration of 86.
