Samaje Perine signs with Cincinnati Bengals

Samaje Perine will join former teammates Rodney Anderson and Joe Mixon in Cincinnati after being released by the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, the team announced on Tuesday.

After being released by Washington Redskins, where he had eight career starts, the Cincinnati Bengals signed the running back to their practice team, before 2019 season, before joining Dolphins in week 16 last season.

Perine, 24, has 188 career carries totaling for 655 rushing yards, including one touchdown on the ground. He added 25 receptions for 187 yards for one touchdown.

The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
