Gresham was a wide receiver for the Tigers from 2003 to 2005. His high school football career was full of highlights and awards. He had 148 career catches and was ranked as the number 34 overall prospect for the 2005 season by Rivals.com.
As the top rated tight end, Gresham received interest from many top college football programs, including the Oklahoma Sooner's, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Miami Hurricanes, LSU Tigers, USC Trojans, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He signed a National Letter of Intent with the University of Oklahoma in February 2006.
