Former Sooners Expected to be Impact Players For Texas A&M

A pair of former Sooners are expected to be impact players for Texas A&M this upcoming season.

The Dallas Morning News' Brandon Wheeland ranked the top players on the Texas A&M roster, he ranked former Oklahoma running back Keith Ford 12th and former Sooner quarterback Trevor Knight 11th.

He writes about Ford:
Ford sat out the 2015 season after transferring from Oklahoma, and a hungry running back with fresh legs is a dangerous combination for defenses. Another 1,000 yard season is possible, though the ball may end up being spread around enough this season to prevent any single player from pushing for the mark. If you had to pick however, Ford may be the favorite to cross the 1000-yard plateau for the Aggies in 2016.

As for Knight:
Knight will already have a chip on his shoulder and feel the need to prove a lot heading into his final season, with the urgency of his eligibility running out adding fuel to the fire. He's an upperclassman who can throw (though his accuracy needs work) as well as pull the pigskin down and scramble with his legs.
Both Knight and Ford are expected to compete for starting job at their respective position.
