Jalen Hurts, Neville Gallimore likely taken in second round

Jalen Hurts, Neville Gallimore is the top-rated available prospects from the University of Oklahoma after the opening night of the 2020 National Football League draft.

San Diego Chargers selected LB Kenneth Murray (23), WR CeeDee Lamb (17) was taken by Dallas Cowboys, the fewest Oklahoma players chosen in the first-round since 2018 draft.

NFL columnist Nate Davis, USA Today, released his latest mock draft ahead of Friday evening's rounds two and three. Davis projects Hurts, Gallimore will be taken in the second round.

Davis predicts Hurts to Pittsburgh Steelers, he writes:

Playing behind veterans Calais Campbell and Derek Wolfe in Baltimore's D-line rotation might give Gallimore the requisite time and positive examples to unlock his potential.

He predicts Gallimore to Baltimore Ravens:

Last season was proof positive that this team needs a better backup plan behind Ben Roethlisberger, now 38 and coming off elbow surgery. Hurts could use more seasoning but his dual threat abilities could also take this an offense in exciting new directions.
